Memory module maker Adata Technology has announced revenues of
NT$2.47 billion (US$82 million) for July 2012, up 8.5% sequentially. The figure
was also the highest monthly level in four months.
On an annual basis, Adata's sales for July 2012 showed a 15%
increase.
In July, sales of NAND flash and other module devices accounted for
62.43% of Adata's overall revenues, up 6pp on quarter, the firm disclosed. In
contrast, the proportion of DRAM module products
slipped to 37.57% from 44.17% in June, the firm said.
Adata has enjoyed brisk sales of solid-state drives and external
hard drives, which yield higher gross margins. The product lines now account for
nearly 20% of company revenues, Adata noted.
Adata reiterated a focus on delivering profitable growth this year.
Product mix adjustment and more stable chip prices will buoy its profitability
in 2012, Adata said.
