AMD is set to announce its latest Trinity APU for the desktop market
on October 1 and the new CPU is expected to have chance of boosting the CPU
maker's revenue performance in the fourth quarter, according to sources from
motherboard players.
The Trinity APU adopts a 32nm process from Globalfoundries and
features an integrated Radeon HD 7000 GPU.
AMD plans to release several Trinity-based APUs including A10-5800K,
A10-5700, A8-5600K, A8-5500, Athlon X4 750K/740, A6-5400K and A4-5300 and will
also launch their pairing FM2-based chipsets - A55, A75 and A85X.
