Industrial PC maker Advantech plans to invest NT$12 million (US$410,734) to establish a digital marketing platform to create an ecosystem for the industry, according to company president Chaney Ho.

Ho pointed out that the digital marketing platform will record and analyze client demand or characteristics to provide them with the right marketing information. Although there is no set schedule for when the system will start to contribute revenues to the company, Ho believes digital marketing will become the trend, and Advantech will play a leading role in the market.

Advantech has also been expanding its operations around the world and is set to establish new bases in Mexico, Indonesia, India and Russia as well as Columbia, Chile, Argentina, Israel, Egypt and countries in Eastern Europe.
