Intel to host ISMC 2013 in early February

Intel is set to host its International Sales and Marketing Conference (ISMC) for 2013 in the US in early February with the company's new CEO candidate reportedly having a chance to show up to preside over the event, according to sources from PC players.

During the conference, business units under Intel Architecture Group (IAG) including PC Client Group, are expected to reveal their latest roadmaps for 2013 with smartphone, tablet and ultrabook to be the focuses, the sources noted.

For the PC sector, Intel is expected to discuss about promotion plans for its upcoming Haswell processors as well as Haswell-based ultrabook platform, and will also review their strategies for the past year.

As for the smartphone and tablet sectors, Intel is also expected to seek solutions to enhance its brand recognition during the conference.
