Micron Technology has announced its next-generation solid state drive (SSD) for data center servers, appliances and storage platforms.
The P400m is the first 25nm MLC NAND SSD to implement Micron's XPERT (extended performance and enhanced reliability technology) for extending SSD performance and enhancing drive life span and data integrity, Micron indicated.
The P400m comes in 100GB, 200GB and 400GB capacities, and a standard 2.5-inch 7mm form factor. The drive is currently in production, and is sold direct to OEMs and through Micron's distribution network.
